ABOUT THE AFROMONDE FESTIVAL
This cultural event will be presented this year by the AFROMONDE Foundation at the Old Port of Montreal in order to welcome as many festival-goers as possible. The AFROMONDE Foundation mission is to contribute to the education and appreciation of the arts for more effective leadership.
AFROMONDE is a unifying event, an amalgam of traditional culture, urban music, humor, fashion, visual arts and gastronomy.
The AFROMONDE Festival generates both a collective dialogue, a blending of rhythms, all presented in various forms. This event stimulates through a festive and artistic dynamic, as well as the feeling of belonging to a multicultural community.
